Disability Unpacked Workshop

Inspiring real change through transformative learning

Disability Unpacked delivers dynamic, thought-provoking and collaborative workshops that challenge perceptions and inspire action. Through interactive sessions, participants explore the history of disability,  uncover the systemic and everyday barriers disabled people face and discover how these challenges can be dismantled with insight and intent. By tackling novel angles and sparking discussions, this workshop empowers individuals, organisations and communities to lead with Respect, Inclusion, Empowerment and Equality.

Being disabled themselves gives Vi a clear insight and passion to what is needed in order to run workshops about Disabiility Inclusion and in my opinion is an expert already in this field.

The person behind Disability Unpacked

Meet Vi Collinson - founder, facilitator, and passionate advocate for change

I'm Vi Collinson, a profoundly deaf professional raised in a family of disability rights advocates. Growing up, I experienced first-hand the social exclusion that so many disabled people still face. What struck me was how often that exclusion came not from big, insurmountable barriers, but from small, thoughtless ones that could be so easily removed. That insight, shaped by my own journey and the shared experiences of many others in the disabled community, is what drives Disability Unpacked. With a background in Business and Digital Marketing degree, I combine lived experience with professional expertise to deliver workshops that are not only informative, but truly transformative and thought provoking. My vision is to make a world where disabled people are understood and embraced in a way that enriches everybody's lives. When I'm not working, you'll find me climbing, on nature walks or baking.
